The CUET UG 2026 application process began on January 3, 2026, and will remain open until January 30, 2026. The fee payment deadline is January 31, 2026, and the correction window will be available from February 2 to February 4, 2026.

CUET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Students must have passed Class 12 or be appearing in Class 12 in 2026 from a recognized board (any stream – Science, Commerce, Arts). General category candidates need a minimum of 50% in Class 12, while SC/ST candidates require 45%. For B.Tech programs, General category candidates need 45% and reserved category candidates need 40%.

Nationality

Indian nationals are eligible. Foreign candidates such as NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, candidates from Nepal and Bhutan, Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, and persons of Indian origin from certain countries are also eligible.

Age Limit

There is no fixed age limit prescribed by NTA for CUET. However, candidates must meet any age criteria set by individual universities.

Subject Selection
