What is CTET?
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level qualifying examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CTET determines eligibility for teachers in central government schools and many state schools. The certificate is valid for a lifetime.

CTET Application Fee 2025

CTET Eligibility Criteria
Primary Teacher — Paper I (Class 1–5)
- 10+2 with 50% and D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed OR
- Graduation with D.El.Ed OR
- 10+2 with 45% and D.El.Ed (as per NCTE relaxations)
Upper Primary Teacher — Paper II (Class 6–8)
- Graduation with B.Ed (NCTE recognized) OR
- Graduation with 45–50% + B.Ed OR
- 10+2 with 50% + 4-year B.El.Ed / BA/B.Sc.Ed

CTET Syllabus — Brief Overview
Child Development & Pedagogy
Learning theories (Piaget, Vygotsky), inclusive education, assessment, individual differences, learning & pedagogy.
Language I & II
Reading comprehension, pedagogy of language development, grammar and communication skills.
Mathematics
Number system, basic operations, geometry, mensuration and pedagogy related to teaching mathematics at primary and upper primary levels.
Environmental Studies
Topics on family, food, shelter, environment, science basics and EVS pedagogy.

- Click on Apply for CTET and register with a valid email and mobile number
- Fill the application form with accurate personal and educational details
- Upload scanned photograph and signature as per specifications
